Overall Visual Direction
Every great costume begins with a great brief.
To establish the visual foundation of your production, I'll need a mood board or visual references, genre and tone details, setting and location context, and any key stylistic direction from the director or production team.
Together, these shape the costume language — colour, texture, silhouette, and style — of the entire film.
Character Development
Every character has a story. The costume tells it.
For each principal character, I develop individual mood boards exploring personality, visual identity, character arc, and colour palette — all presented to the director for approval before sourcing begins.
Alongside this, a full costume change breakdown is prepared, covering outfit counts per character, any special wardrobe requirements such as stunts or duplicates, and costume transitions that reflect the character's journey.
Continuity Management
Consistency is everything in film.
Every outfit worn across multiple shooting days is meticulously tracked — wardrobe notes, visual references, and duplicate garments where needed — ensuring seamless continuity from the first take to the last.
Sourced, Styled, Shot
From first fitting to final take, every wardrobe detail is handled.
Costumes are sourced through shopping, rental, or custom design, with all fittings, alterations, and shoot-day preparation managed end to end.
On set, I oversee wardrobe throughout filming and work closely with hair, makeup, and production design to ensure every department tells the same visual story.
Budget & Resource Planning
Every costume decision is backed by a clear, comprehensive budget.
Following the script breakdown, a full wardrobe budget is prepared covering principal and supporting cast, extras, duplicates, accessories, footwear, and all tailoring and alteration costs — submitted to production for approval before sourcing begins.

Every scene is planned. Every costume is ready.
A detailed script breakdown identifies wardrobe requirements scene by scene, coordinated directly with the Assistant Director team to align with the shooting schedule — ensuring every look is prepared in advance and continuity is never compromised.
Project timelines typically run over several months, depending on script complexity, number of characters, costume changes, and the length of the production schedule.
